This post explains on how to extend the schema for SCCM 2007.
Requirements:
* Schema Admin Group member or equivalent access
* Extadch.exe file located in the SMSSETUP/BIN/I386
Reference : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-in/library/bb680608.aspx
1. Back up schema master role to avoid any implications
2. Login with Schema admin group user member or equivalent role user.
3. Run extadch.exe file from SMSSETUP/BIN/I386
4.Verify whether the execution is successful by checking the extadch.log file that will be created in the root directory of the system where it has been run.
It will create 4 classes and 14 attributes in the schema as shown.
The most common error will be error code 5 i.e. access denied, check the permissions and run the file again.
However, this is not the recommended method to extend schema but using LDIF file available in the same directory is.
