The below steps can be used to find out the version of Windows installer.
1.Go to Start>Run>type CMD
2.In the command prompt window, enter “Msiexec /help”.
3.It will open a window with the Windows installer version as shown.
Here, the version is 5.0.7601.17514
Note that for SCCM client to be installed, the minimum supported version is 3.1.4000.2435
